3.Explain
the difference between manipulated(independent) variable, responding(dependent)
variable, & control variable.
Classwork
•Review
the ppt. on thinking like scientist.
•In
2-3 groups (a) define: experiment, law, theory, hypothesis, & observations.
(b) using the sealed boxes design an experiment
to find out “what is inside the box?”
i.e. make observations, create hypotheses, how to test hypotheses, develop a
theory, collaborate with others, & make your findings public. (30 min.)
•One
document per group
Closure
