Biology Sept. 8, 2014

OBJECTIVE: Students will learn to identify and describe the examples of mono, di, & polysaccharides and explain condensation reactions in writing.

WARM-UP
1.Distinguish between (a) organic and inorganic compounds (b) a covalent and ionic bond (c) condensation and hydrolysis reactions

2.Give the type and number of bonds carbon forms in most of its compounds.
Home work
. Complete handout question using Excel.
2. Read chapter 3.1 and make notes using the assessment statements found on page 46.
Next class begins with questions related to this section and with the work done in class today.
3. Friday Sept. 12 is a review test on chapter 2
