Water is a polar molecule. Explain what this means.
Describe and explain hydrogen bonding.
List and describe the following properties of water as they relate living organisms:
1. Thermal properties
2. Solvent properties
3. Medium for chemical reactions of metabolism
4. Transpiration in plants
5. Density of water is maximum at 4 degrees Celsius
6. Transparency

Study for a quiz on water and all molecules covered in class.
