•Objective: Students will set goals for the upcoming school year by writing their goals and sharing with class.

•W.O.D. Firmament-the sky; the heavens

•Warm-up- students are to write 3 academic goals that they have for themselves in school as a whole and/or the class specifically. Write 2 in journals and 1 on a piece of paper/sticky notes.

Classwork

•Objective: Students will complete a short questionnaire to demonstrate their understanding of the command terms.

Directions: Complete all questions on loose-leaf by first defining the underlined term and then answer the question to show your understanding of each command term.

Home work
Read chapter 1 and be prepared to apply the information presented there.
