What are the steps of the scientific method and state the role each step plays in the process.
CLASSWORK
OBJECTIVE: Students will use the scientific method to determine the contents of a sealed box.
Activity-What is in the box? (30 mins)
1. Students are to organize themselves into 3 equal groups and sit by one of the boxes in the lab area.
2. Decide on what procedures to follow to answer the question.
3. Create several hypotheses
4. Test 1-2 hypotheses
5. Collect and analyze data
6. Make conclusion
