OBJECTIVE: Students will learn how to measure
 various quantities using the metric system and 
record their finding in writing.

WARM-UP
1. What do you know about the metric system of
 measurement?

2. Why do you think scientist all use the same
 unit of measurement?

HW
Describe how to separate a mixture of sand,
 salt, chalk dust, & iron filings. Give details of
 the process you will use.

Once the lab has been done during class time, a 
lab report must be completed. Use the guide
 provided on the student resource page. All 
reports are due the next class time.
