1. How many groups and period are on the periodic table?
2. Give one fact that can be obtained from the periodic table.
CLASSWORK
ON A PIECE OF PAPER, DRAW AN OUTLINE OF THE PERIODIC TABLE AND SHOW THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:
1. groups 1-18 (A & b groups)
2. Periods 1-7
3. The step-line that divides the metals from the non-metals
4. Alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, halogens, rare gases (inert gases), actinide, & lanthanide series
Remember to include a colr key to show your classifications.
