Models are used in science all the time. NOS requires us to understand the role models play in science knowledge. So write your answers to the following questions in your note-books and be prepared to discuss them.

is a model?
2.Why
do scientists use models?
3.Can
different scientists have different models for the same subject? Explain your
answer.
4.Give
an example of a model used in chemistry. Describe the model and discuss how effective is the model in improving our
understanding of the subject.
