OBJECTIVE: Students will complete several questions I.O.T. improve their understanding of concentrations of solution.
W.O.D. Exemplary-serving as an example.
WARM-UP
1.Define molarity.

2.A solution has 2.3 moles of NaCl dissolve in 2.2 Liters of solution. What is the molarity of the solution.
Classwork
CYU
1. A solution is made when a solute dissolve in a solvent. Define and use examples to show the difference between solute and solvent.
2. Describe how each of the following affects solution formation (a) decrease in temperature (b) stirring the solution  (c) decreasing the size of the solute particles.
3. How does temperature affect the solubility of gases?
4. According to Henry’s law, how does doubling the pressure on gas affect its solubility?

Complete the solutions handout for an assessment grade.
