Define homeostasis and demonstrate how the body is able to maintain (a) constant internal body temperature despite large temperature changes in the environment (b) a constant level of glucose in the blood after a person has been fasting for a while and then decides to eat a meal shortly after.
Classwork
1.Complete handout on reflex action and arc.
2.In groups of two, prepare, organize, and present information on the generation and propagation of an action potential.
