OBJECTIVE: Students will describe and classify examples of matter based on their physical and chemical properties.

1. Define the following terms: (a) ecological footprint (b) industrial revolution (c) Agricultural revolution

3. Group up with 2 other students and compare results, paying attention to similarities and differences in the ecological footprints. Write your answers on loose-leaf paper. Compare the following: how many earths, overshoot day, carbon footprint, carbon dioxide emissions (make sure you know what each measures)

4. Complete “Map it activity” on page 10. Give your answers on the loose-leaf paper
