CLASSWORK-group activity
- All students with the same topic are to get together as a group
- In each group, decide on the format the presentation will take (PowerPoint or chart paper)
- Create an outline of the main points of your presentation
- Divide the main points between group members
- Start working on the presentation
Activity-Human impact on the environment
Students are to describe a human activity that affects the environment. All presentations should include the following:
- Students must describe their selected activity and include the following terminology in their presentation: natural resource, renewable natural resource, non-renewable natural resource, environmental science, and sustainable
- Students should explain the role of environmental scientists in solving the problem that they are working on.
- All groups will make a presentation during the next class period.
