OBJECTIVE: Students will complete an open note-book evaluation of the ventilation system and gas exchange by recording answers on a handout.

1.Show the relationship between breathing (ventilation), gas exchange, and cellular respiration, and state where each process takes place.

2.Obtain a copy of the handout and label the diagram showing gas exchange.
