•OBJECTIVES:
On completion of this case students will be able to:
1. Describe the effect of high blood
pressure on the integrity of blood vessels.
2. Describe the link between high blood
pressure an aneurysm.
3. Draw a simple spinal reflex and
differentiate between sensory, motor, and inter-neurons.
4. Understand the function of the
trigeminal nerve.
5. Relate inappropriate action potentials
in sensory neurons with the sensation of pain.
