OBJECTIVE: Students will create a presentation i.o.t. show their understanding of myogenic and neurological of the heart and will present their creation to the class.

1. Define the following terms: myogenic control, neurological control, and cardiac cycle

Case study-”Facing the pain: An interrupted case study in physiology”.
Read the article, summarize the information and then create 6 questions using the Bloom’s taxonomy Question stems (2 analysis, 2 synthesis, & 2 evaluation) based on the article and the cardiovascular system.
Please remember to bring the article to the next class for classwork.

Group work (working in pairs-1 group of 3)
Each group must create an individual way to present their understanding of myogenic and neurological control of the heart.
The suggested presentations include the use of: (a) song (b) poetry (c) drama (d) cartoon (e) short story (f) your own method of presentation (30 minutes)
