Home work
1.Describe
the flow of blood through the heart starting at the vena cava and ending at the
aorta. Include the names of all chambers and valves through which the blood
must pass on its journey.
2.Describe
the control of the heart contractions during normal activities and when the
body is experiencing vigorous activities such as running or brisk walking.
Give
names of the three types of blood vessels and describe their structural and
functional differences.
Classwork
1. Label the diagram of the heart and
describe the flow of blood through the heart, to the lungs, back to the heart,
to the rest of the body.
