Chemistry Dec. 4, 2013 (A day)

•OBJECTIVE: Students will learn how the ionic and covalent bonds are formed I.O.T. describe chemical bonding.

1. How are cations and anions formed? Give an example of each.

2.  Show how the ionic bond is formed between aluminum and chlorine.
Classwork
Complete ionic bonding along with C.Y.U. questions.
Notes on the covalent bond and worked examples.
